Denise Vasi
(Randi Hubbard, All My Children)

Even before her debut as Randi Morgan on ABC's daytime soap opera, "All My Children," Denise Vasi had already established herself as one of the entertainment industry's top women to watch. The actress, who is currently the face of Olay's Spring 2009 on-camera advertising campaign, has graced the pages of international and domestic glossies (including ELLE, Marie Claire, GQ Italy and the cover of French magazine Clam) as a sought-out model.

Denise’s charity work spans many different causes. Some of her recent interests include:

Caron Renaissance, whose mission is to "reverse the destructive cycle of addiction and related disorders. The strategy is to intervene on the process through a coordinated array of clinical services, repair broken alliances and foster foster healthy interdependent relationships." Denise recently hosted Save a Life Celebration to honor Caron Renaissance and 20 years of service. Ms. Vasi praised  Director of Development, Ms. Jacqueline Sherry's 24/7 availability for advice, remarking, "her struggle and willingness to give back is an inspiration for me.”

iParticipate had Denise as a volunteer in October's event where ABC Daytime and SOAPnet's Soap Nation Tour teamed with City Year, the national youth service organization, for volunteer events in Los Angeles and New York.

City Year is a nonprofit organization built on the belief that young people can change the world. As tutors, mentors and role models, City Year's diverse young leaders make a difference in the lives of children and transform schools and neighborhoods across the United States, at 19 locations, and in South Africa. Every 26 seconds a student drops out of high school in America, and this dropout crisis requires innovative solutions. Corps members dedicate themselves to helping students and schools succeed with a focus on improving attendance, behavior and coursework. City Year also engages community members, corporate employees and students in high-impact community service events to improve educational, recreational and residential facilities supporting youth and families.
