I met Hugh Jackman and his co-star in the play A Steady Rain, Daniel Craig. For my birthday, my friend and I got tickets for their play (October 2009). At the end, they were auctioning stuff off to raise money for Broadway Cares (an Actors Equity AIDS charity). For a donation, I was able to have my photo taken with them. ~ Kim
I'm a longtime (well over 30 yrs!) ABC soap fan and
I give back by volunteering for Home and Hospice Care of RI. I assist
patients and their families by lending my presence during the dying process,
giving the caregivers breaks when needed, assisting with the
grieving/bereavement process and offering healing Reiki (I am a Usui Reiki
Master/Teacher) to those who request it. ~ Susan A.
