Karen, the blogmistress has a long history of rounding up her readers to join forces to raise money for the different causes supported by GH cast members and fan bases.

This past October, Wubsnet was proud to team up with the Scrubs fan base from ScrubsHub to raise money and participate in AIDS Walk LA. Thanks to donations by "wubbers", ad clicking revenue and a very special Jonathon Jackson auction item, Wubsnet walkers raised over $1500 in just over 4 weeks. For their effort, the Wubs mascot Alberta was granted Star Walker status (awarded to walkers who raise over $1,000).

abandoned animals from the harsh streets of the Los Angeles area, as
well as from the overcrowded and overwhelmed city and county animal
shelters.
