To Haiti With Love was inspired by the enthusiasm of the stars from Daytime as they rallied to support KNBC's "Hope For Haiti" money donation drive at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on January 16th. Within several hours, fans of the actors donated almost $900 for the donation drive which benefited the American Red Cross and Operation USA.

To Haiti With Love is a fun way for daytime fans to give back. Participating fans will pledge a donation size of their choice for each time the word LOVE is said on the show they select.  Every Friday, the total number of LOVE will be posted and fans will be directed to the Operation USA donation page to make their donations. The campaign will run through February 14, 2010 and participants can decide how frequently they pledge.

Why Operation USA? General Hospital fan and television reporter Angie Crouch is working with Operation USA on an upcoming relief mission to Haiti. As you are probably aware, the logistics in planning relief flights into Haiti is quite complex. While Angie works with Op USA on securing flight plans so that she can accompany a shipment to Haiti, her fellow Daytime television fans can help gather love by way of donations.
